What is Abound by Marriott Vacations?

The Abound by Marriott Vacations™ exchange program allows you to reserve vacations at 90+ premium villa resorts and properties in exciting destinations around the world. These include Marriott Vacation Club^®, Sheraton^® Vacation Club, plus Westin^® Vacation Club villa resorts, and Vistana Beach Club and Harborside Resort at Atlantis. You can also enjoy city vacations when reserving stays at City Collection properties.

Take your vacations further with thousands of other experiences and travel essentials, including cruises, vacation tours, hotel stays, airline frequent flyer miles, golf packages, and more. Check off a bucket-list vacation and take an African Safari. Hunt for truffles in Provence. Spend a special anniversary in Italy learning to make pasta. What are Club Points?

Club Points are a flexible vacation currency that can be used to reserve vacations through the Abound by Marriott Vacations™ in the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations ownership program and exchange program, including:

Stays for any check-in date, villa size, and number of nights, based on availability
Cruises, guided tours, hotel stays, vacation homes, safaris, and more

Will I have help planning my next vacation?

Yes, over the coming weeks, you will be receiving a series of emails with access to informational tutorials, webinars, and an introduction to a group of expert advisors, all to help you reserve your first vacation!

When will I receive my purchase incentive?

You will receive your purchase incentive approximately 4 to 6 weeks after your closing. Look for an email to acknowledge when your purchase incentive is available for use.

What other benefits do I get with my ownership?

You can convert your ownership usage to Marriott Bonvoy^® points and use them to reserve stays at more than 8,500 hotels across 30 unique brands.

And if that’s not enough, remember that you can also exchange your ownership usage through Interval International^® to vacation at thousands of timeshare resorts worldwide.

Tell me about the Marriott Bonvoy^® Elite level program.

Owners in Abound by Marriott Vacations™ will enjoy an upgrade to their Marriott Bonvoy Elite status, based on Owner benefit level. For example, you will enjoy Marriott Bonvoy^® Gold Elite status or higher for as long as you own. Your Marriott Bonvoy Elite status benefits can be enjoyed when you are staying at Marriott^® hotels, and may include room upgrades, free breakfasts, late check-out, and more, based on your status.

I am already a Marriott Bonvoy^® Platinum Elite Member. Can I give the upgrade to my spouse?

Owners receive one Marriott Bonvoy elite level upgrade and may choose the person from their Ownership account who will receive the upgrade.

How do I get in contact with my Sales Executive?

The sales package you received from our sales team at the point of sale, and any emails you received from us since your sales presentation, will include your Sales Executive’s name and contact information.

Use Year

Your Use Year begins every year on the anniversary of when you closed on purchase of Club Points. For example, if your closing occurred on May 15, your Use Year will begin on June 1 each year, and end on May 31. The Use Year for Enrolled Owners is the calendar year.

Electing Club Points

Points Owners’ annual distribution of Club Points are automatically refreshed each year, prior to reservations being available. Enrolled Weeks Owners must elect to receive Club Points on the years when they choose to do so. The deadline to elect Club Points depends on an Owner’s benefit level.

Trading for Marriott Bonvoy™ Points

Eligible Club Points may be traded for Marriott Bonvoy® points by certain deadlines which depend on an Owners’ benefit level. Each Club Point is equivalent to 40 Marriott Bonvoy points. Enrolled Owners must trade their eligible weeks for Marriott Bonvoy points by December 31 of the previous year.

Banking Points

You may bank all or some of your Club Points to use during the following Use Year. But keep in mind the deadline for banking Club Points depends on your Owner benefit level. Owner and Selection benefit level Owners must bank no later than 6 months prior to the end of the current Use Year.

Borrowing Points

Want to take a vacation that requires more Club Points than your current year’s allotment? No problem. You can the flexibility to “borrow” points from your following year’s balance.

Click “Create New Account” button on the app.
Fill in your needed information.
Verify your correct email address.
Log in with your Username and Password.
Select the “Ownership” tab and click “Connect Ownership.”
Provide information to connect your ownership to your account.

Your account will be active once all steps are complete. If you choose to log in to your account, the login process will ask you to connect your ownership. You will receive an email from us once your contract has been processed with the information needed to complete this form.
