As an Owner, you’ll enjoy access to an exciting world of vacation opportunities, and we’re here to help you explore! We’ve answered some frequently asked questions and highlighted some important dates to help you better understand your ownership.

How do I start planning my first vacation?
In the coming weeks, you will receive an email inviting you to participate in Insider Foundations, a program designed to help new Owners like you reserve the first of many well-deserved vacations. Insider Foundations includes helpful videos, How-to-Use Guides, and on-demand webinars. You can even schedule an appointment with your Owner Services team for additional help. Insider Foundations also has information on how to log in to your Owner website, plus how to download the Marriott Vacation Club® app, where you can sign up for push notifications and see your digital Owner card.


Can I share my Club Points with another Owner?
Yes, you can transfer Club Points to friends or family members who are also Owners anytime during your Use Year. Keep in mind that any Club Points you transfer must be used by the end of your Use Year.

When will my contract closing take place?
Around 30 days after full payment is made or full deposit is paid in case of finance.

When will I receive my recorded deed and Owner’s title insurance policy?
Your title policy and the information needed to access your recorded deed electronically will be provided approximately 60 days after closing.

When will I receive my first maintenance fee and Club Dues bills?
You’ll receive both in November each year for the following year. For your convenience, you can pay your maintenance fee and Club Dues online when you use the Owner login at Please note if you bought at the beginning of the year your first maintenance fee will be payable 2 or 3 months after your contract closes.

When will I receive my purchase incentive?
Approximately 30 days after your closing. Once that happens, your Vacation Ownership Advisor can help you book reservations and make the most of your incentive.

How do I contact Owner Services for more information?

What number do I call if I am a Weeks Owner located in The United States and Canada?
If your resort is located in The United States and Canada: 800-845-4226. If your resort is located in Europe or Asia: 800-650-5720.

Your Use Year begins every year on the anniversary of when you closed on your purchase of Club Points. For example, if your closing occurs on May 15th, your Use Year will begin on June 1st each year, and end on May 31st. The Use Year for Enrolled Owners is the calendar year.
Electing Club Points — Points Owners’ annual distribution of Club Points are automatically refreshed each year, prior to reservations being available. Enrolled Owners must elect to receive Club Points on the years when they choose to do so. The deadline to elect Club Points depends on an Owners’ benefit level.

Trade Eligible Club Points for Marriott Bonvoy™ Points may be traded for Marriott Bonvoy points by certain deadlines which depend on an Owners’ benefit level. Each Club Point is equivalent to 40 Marriott Bonvoy points. Enrolled Owners must trade their eligible weeks for Marriott Bonvoy points by December 31 of the previous year

Banking Points — Owner or Select banking deadline: 6 months prior to the end of their Use Year. Executive, Presidential or Chairman’s Club banking deadline: 4 months prior to the end of their Use Year.

Borrowing Points — Want to take a vacation that requires more Club Points than your current year’s allotment? No problem. You have the flexibility to “borrow” points from your following year’s balance.
